If using a SatNav to locate the farm you will find that entering NNS 6JR will take you to Stanford on Avon. By using NN6 6JS you will be directed through Stanford on Avon to within 1.2 miles of the farm.
Directions - from the north (M6)
Follow M6 South to the very end. DO NOT follow the M1.(Note this is Junction 19 of the M1).After passing the A426 junction 1 (M6 for Rugby) stay in the inside lane. Take the next slip road signed A14 Kettering. At the bottom of the slip road go through the traffic lights and under the bridge (M1). Take the first exit on the roundabout signposted Swinford. This is Rugby Road. Follow signs to Stanford Hall. Drive past Stanford caravan park the Hall and church (all on left hand side) stay on this road. Drive for approximately 1 mile (after the church). At the white painted house (private property) the road bends to the left over a small bridge (for a drainage culvert), take the turning on the left. The road is not signed, the cottages are on the right hand side and the farm approximately 1.2 miles further on.
Directions - from the north (M1)
There are two options if you are driving south, either J20 at Lutterworth or J19 (the Catthorpe Interchange at Swinford).
J20 at Lutterworth :- At the top of the sliproad turn left onto the A4304 towards Walcote. Take the second turning on the right (South Kilworth road, signposted South Kilworth). Follow this road. At South Kilworth the road is quite twisty and may cause problems for larger vehicles. At the junction (Pub opposite) turn right onto Rugby Road. After approximately 1 mile turn left onto Stanford Road. Follow this road into Stanford on Avon. The church will be on your right handside, at the junction turn left. Drive for approximately 1 mile (after the church). At the white painted house (private property) the road bends to the left over a small bridge (for a drainage culvert), take the turning on the left. The road is not signed, the cottages are on the right hand side and the farm approximately 1.2 miles further on.
J19 Catthorpe interchange at Swinford :- At the bottom of the slip road take the first exit on the roundabout signposted Swinford. This is Rugby Road. Follow signs to Stanford Hall. You can either come off the M1 at J18 or drive up to J20 and take either of the two options above. These options are probably the easiest. If coming off the M1 at J18, at the bottom of the slip road follow the A5 towards Hinckley. Stay on this road for approximately 4 miles. Turn right towards Catthorpe. Drive through the village towards the M6 interchange. At the junction turn right onto the A14 follow this road under the M1. At the roundabout (after second set of traffic lights) take the first exit signed Swinford. This is Rugby Road. Follow signs to Stanford Hall. Drive past Stanford caravan park the Hall and church (all on left hand side) stay on this road. Drive for approximately 1 mile (after the church). At the white painted house (private property) the road bends to the left over a small bridge (for a drainage culvert), take the turning on the left. Directions - from the east (A14)
Follow A14 East to the very end. Just before reaching the M1/M6 interchange at Catthorpe it is advisable to move into the outside lane. Follow the road under the M1 then turn right at the lights to double back on yourself and go under the M1 again. Take the first exit on the roundabout signposted Swinford. This is Rugby Road. Follow signs to Stanford Hall. Drive past Stanford caravan park the Hall and church (all on left hand side) stay on this road. Drive for approximately 1 mile (after the church).
