Information

Terms of Use

  • Course owners/manager/employees and those who oversee the running of the courses reserve the right to refuse admission
  • All riders must sign the disclaimer form before setting out on the course
  • If paying a yearly fee the dates the fee covers are noted on your payment receipt
  • All jumps on the course are optional and the rider can choose not to jump any or all the fences. All fences to be taken only in the direction of the markers. It is each rider's responsibility to make certain that they and their horse have the necessary level of ability and experience before attempting to jump. Riders should familiarise themselves beforehand with any jump of which they have any doubts as to their ability to complete it safely.
  • Single riders must be accompanied by either another rider or person on foot. Any spectator or person accompanying a rider must keep well clear of all jumps. No vehicles or bikes to be allowed on the course without prior permission from the Farm Manager Michael Egginton.
  • Any accident must be reported immediately and a record made in writing before departing.
  • The course owner does not insure the rider, your horse or your tack and equipment. You are strongly advised to have in place your own adequate personal accident insurance at all times.
  • All riders and spectators are to ride only on the Chaser Course/ Cross Country Course or on designated Bridle ways.
  • Anyone found to be using any other track; headland or any other land owned by Park Farm other than the Chaser Course/Cross Country Course will be asked to leave and may be refused admission for future use with the loss of the user fee.
  • The advanced fee is for unlimited use of the Chaser/Cross Country Courses at Park Farm by the named rider only, on the named horse/pony only, on the dates detailed on the application form. No rider or horse may be substituted without prior authorisation from the course manager Michael Egginton. All riders must sign the Terms of Use and Code of Conduct document prior to using the course.
  • The Course Manager reverse the right to close the course when the conditions prohibit its use (mainly when it is too wet to use), or for reasonable maintenance of the course or if the course is being used by another organisation. These dates will be published in advance on the website.
