April 2012 turned out to be one of the soggiest on record here at Park Farm, but at least the local reservoir looks better for it. As you will be able to see from the top of the long course. Both courses are open but passable with care as there are still some wet patches out there. The operations on the farm have been held up due to the wet weather so now we are in the process of catching up. All the vegetation looks vibrant as it has taken full advantage of the weather. Now the weather is warming up (finally) the grass is romping away.
The local pony club is holding a clear round show jumping clinic here this morning in response to nearly all our local equine events being cancelled. Will let you know how they get on. Any way I am off to enjoy todays sunshine because guess what …………………………………………………… More rain due tomorrow!

Regards Janette

Hi there, well what a weekend, we have opened the course early this year due to this lovely weather. We have had the website revamped many thanks to Alan Fairhall for his excellent work (as always). It is well on its way to being completed, just taking some new images to load up then done! Many thanks also to Allan Hamp who has re done all our signage and stationary.

The course is riding well after the TLC given it over the winter. All the portable fences were bought in and treated and are now back out on the courses ready for use. We have had a busy weekend rider wise so nice to see faces retuning from previous seasons and some new comers. So

I am pleased to say our conversation work is paying dividends the local populations of owls, bats, hares and other birds are flourishing. It’s wonderful to be able to ride through such beautiful countryside seeing everything coming to life once more.

We would love to see you, so if you would like to ride round the course or use any of the other facilities just give us a ring.
